Judah

It seems like a while since I’ve   been on the page,

So much to say……...

So, forgive me if you thought I’d scurried away

Life and time play tricks, and skips, and work, well-being, Love, Loss, learning and gratitude

Judah

LOVE is tender
LOVE IS JUDAH

In life as in death, love is eternal.
And memories made in this way heal and pave.

Judah
twinkle and the crease of your eyes when you smiled.
Sister Judah,
Mother, sister, legacy, creator,
Singer, activist, peacemaker.
Love is tender.
This is the essence of one love.
One love is harmony, souls singing to heal, to praise, to rejoice, to weep.
One love is community.
One love is the absence of ego.
We will remember Judah; can we carry her truth,
Me and you?
One love—in the Leeds, in the light, activate, cherish, hold tight.
Judah
Through your giving, dark day’s journey into light.
For one love does not try to divide, separate, and rule.
One love keeps on pushing through.
Judah, Judah, Judah

Rest in love and light.

My first book called I   Am was out in 1999, who would have thought that today, not only is it still selling, but that some of my friends who made that journey possible are no longer here,

In August, we said a poignant goodbye to, Annette Morrison, Judah,

Judah was a beautiful soul, and was part of the Dub Band, I was extremely lucky to have the musicians and the mentors I did back then, and still work alongside them, for over twenty five years, we have raised our children together and watched them grow into brilliant humans and have their own children,

we came together to mourn, and to create, to sing and to journey home our sister Annette almost a year passing the death of Richard Bostock, heart and double Bass player of the band

Its funny but when I sit down to finally write the blogs its strange because I never know what thought will hit the page

It seems today that I want to keep faith, and turning the loss into creating and acknowledging and cherishing and most of all thanking Judah for her gift of friendship and her light and her song,

Below is Judah words, an extract from the book I AM

Rest in eternal love Judah

I am Annette

Here is my spirit

I give from my spirit

To my music

My connection of God

Is like moving, waking a place where I want to go

I am a mother

In love

With my children

My God

Myself, my music

My Passion, I live a story

That has not been told

And my inner strength

Guides

And in my faith

I know my time will come

I give my love

For the inspiration

That brought all this together

Respect due

To one and all

Annette
