Michelle Scally Clarke

Poet – Wellbeing Facilitator – Creative Writing Consultant

Michelle unfolds a space to write for wellbeing…

Everyone can benefit from this practise. You don’t need to be a writer, a poet, or even confident with grammar or spelling. Writing for wellbeing is not about perfection—it’s about expression.

This practice is not about how well you did in school, or whether English is your first language. In fact, it's not even about writing in perfect English. What matters is authenticity—your thoughts, your feelings, your voice.

Write as if you're speaking to someone you trust completely. Be honest, informal if needed, and intuitive. It’s less about formality and more about creating space for your inner dialogue.

This is a conversation—with yourself, on the page.

We often joke, “I’m a poet and didn’t know it!”—that moment when words just flow during everyday conversations. That same natural rhythm often appears in your writing when you’re feeling something deeply—whether it's joy, frustration, anxiety, or calm. Every emotion has a voice.
