Dimmed lights, hushed anticipation. The room pulses with energy as Michelle steps to the mic. Her words weave through the air, painting emotions in hues you’ve never seen. Goosebumps ripple across your skin. That’s the power of spoken word—the heartbeat of our souls.

In this performance, Michelle will be accompanied by Leon Johnson from Shadow Quartet on tenor saxophone and the Mighty Adam Richards from Louis Louis Louis on double bass.

Our Jazz Festival Tent events are pay-as-you-feel to help cover some of the costs of the artists, sound engineers and set up, but with absolutely no pressure. We are an inclusive venue and we want everyone to have a great time!
