Good morningToday I was called Michelle Scally Clarke

Today I was called before I even woke my eyes.

“Enter the serpent seed of life, Kool, and deadly writhing around the worldly

It seems today that Geraldine o conner and Jean Binta breeze have woken me up.

To remind me I was a mother god.

“Here is my body, here in my body is the centre of the universe.”

What a beautiful poet Jean was

Her lines tumble through my head, warm and resurfacing, healing, and awaking I stretch out of bed.

I have got this, today.

The rain is pitter patting on my window and the Oshun is gurgling and flowing in her stream.

Calling my spirit to rise

I have work to do, spirit, soul searching work.

Its writing, and self, that has been forgotten and pushed aside,

Or maybe it’s just me older and wiser and ready to believe in self.

I have had the privilege of a great many teachers, their passing only clarifying, seeding stronger, I may not have had the discipline, but have the privilege.

what I’ve learnt about great teaching is, that can be used, seen, and felt for generations to come.,

Like generational trauma

Which myself, my children, my people, my friends, the world, stands and suffers daily in

Mental health, wellbeing, love, and hope, struggling to hold us up.

I am one of the lucky ones, because I get to see people’s beautiful every day, in their colours, their words their Art.

In my workshops, we get to breathe and exhale, I get to see daily in my work.

That there is beautiful in everything,

Good morning!

there is a giving and a receiving, so now, here I am.
